1. What information about the users do we collect?

a) Information that you provide us: We collect the information you provide when you use our Site or App or our software/services, including, without limitation, when you sign up for an account, make the payment to purchase any of our subscription plans, use our services for your task management, collaborate with your team on our software, share your feedback, submit a complaint, communicate or interact with us in any manner. This can include Financial Information, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and non-PII

information. Examples include the following:

i. Your personal details (mandatory): Your full name, email.

Purpose: Your name is used to display your profile name at various places within the application for identification purposes. Email ID is unique to the user, and WeGoDoo uses it to identify users to register their accounts. Invitations (for signups or collaboration) to other users are also sent via their email ids. WeGoDoo will also use email IDs to send personalised and marketing emails occasionally.

ii. Your personal details (Optional): Your birth date, phone number, and profile image.

Purpose:

a. Birthdate: If added, we will use it to send you birthday wishes on your special day.

b. Phone Number: If added, it will be used only to interact with you for support purposes.

c. Profile Image: If added, a profile image is used to display your profile image at various places within the application for identification purposes.

iii. Information collected from Google account: If you sign up using your Google account, we will collect certain information associated with your account, that is, your name, email, and social profile image URL (for displaying profile image)

iv. Information collected from Facebook account: If you sign up using your Facebook account, we will collect certain information associated with your account, that is, your name, email, Facebook username, and social profile image URL (for displaying profile image)

v. Token: Token is used to check if you are logged in or not. If you are logged in, only then push notifications will be sent.

vi. Device ID: The device ID is used to check if you are connected via WebSocket or not. If you are connected via WebSocket, then messages are sent via a WebSocket response. Otherwise, it's sent via push notification.

 

b) Permissions: Our application collects the following permissions from you:

i. On Android Application:

a. Storage Access: This permission is required to access files stored on your device. This permission allows you to add attachments from your device.

b. Record Audio: To access the device's mic and record your audio, which can be added to the comments section of the application.

c. Internet Permission: To perform network operations in the App and exchange data with the WeGoDoo server.

d. Vibrate: This allows the App to control the vibrator function of the device. The vibrate function is used for various user feedback purposes in the application.

e. Billing: It is the permission required to integrate in-app purchases in the android application.

ii. On IOS Application:

a. Camera Access: The app requires access to your camera to enable you to take pictures and upload them as profile pictures or to add documents/attachments.

b. Photo Gallery Access: The app requires access to the photo library to enable you to upload photos as profile pictures or to add documents/attachments.

c. Microphone Access: The app requires access to your Microphone to record audio for sending voice messages.

iii. On Web Interface: Microphone Access: Our web app requires access to your device’s microphone to send recorded audio files as task comments.

c) Payment Information: When you subscribe to one of our plans, then you provide our third-party payment service provider with your credit or debit card or internet banking information. We don’t collect your payment card details. For payments, we redirect you to a third-party payment gateway service provider, which collects and processes your payment request. Our third-party payment gateway service providers are:

i. Google Pay: For subscriptions availed on Play Store.

ii. Apple Pay: For subscriptions availed on the App Store.

iii. Pabbly Subscription Billing Platform: For subscriptions availed and/or licenses purchased on web interface.

d) Information about your Activities: We also collect information about how you use our services, such as the content you engage with or the frequency and duration of your activities.

e) Customer Care: If you contact our customer support via email, in those cases, we collect all your interactions with our customer support.

f) Good Judgment: We suggest you exercise good judgment and caution while providing personal information.

 

2. What is the lawful basis for using your personal information?

You hereby acknowledge that all processing of your personal information will be justified by a "lawful ground" for processing. In the majority of cases, processing will be justified on the basis that:

Consent: You have given your consent for processing personal data for one or more specific purposes.

Performance of a contract: Provision of personal data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with you and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof.

Legal obligations: Processing personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

4. Deleting your information

Your account and the information that you provide us is yours. You can, at any time, request the deletion of the same. However, it is important to acknowledge that, even after your deletion request, we may retain some of the information for a reasonable period of time to comply with legal requests. This retention is necessary to adhere to various legal obligations that we might be subjected to.

Below are the instructions for deleting user information for Free Plan, Pro Plan and Business Plan users of WeGoDoo

 

Free Plan Users

  1. Access Subscription Status: Go to the subscription status page in your accounts section.
  2. Delete Account and Data: Click on the "Close Account and Delete Data" option to remove your account and data from WeGoDoo's servers.
  3. Personal Lists Deletion: Personal lists will be deleted immediately upon your account closure.
  4. Shared Lists Deletion:
  • Email Deletion Request: For deleting shared lists, you need to email a deletion request to support@wegodoo.com.
  • Include List Names: In your email, provide the names of the shared lists you wish to delete.
  • Obtain and Provide Consent: You must obtain the consent of all list members for the deletion of shared lists. Include evidence of this consent in your email.
  • Wait for Deletion Confirmation: Once WeGoDoo receives the consent from all list members, we will proceed with deleting the shared lists from our end.

 

Pro Plan Users

  1. Access Subscription Status: Navigate to the subscription status page in your account section.
  2. Cancel Subscription: Choose the option to cancel your current subscription.
  3. Shift to Free Plan: After cancelling, select the "Shift to free plan now" option.
  4. Delete Account and Data: Return to the subscription status page and click "Close Account and Delete Data" to permanently delete your account and data from WeGoDoo's servers.
  5. Shared Lists: Note that personal lists will be deleted, but shared lists won't be due to their shared nature with other users. If you want to delete shared lists, you need to email WeGoDoo with the consent of all list members.

 

Business Plan Users

  1. Email Request: The admin user must email a deletion request to support@wegodoo.com.
  2. List Details: Include in your email the specific names of the lists you wish to delete from WeGoDoo’s server.
  3. Await Confirmation: WeGoDoo will send you a confirmation email regarding the requested deletions.
  4. Approve Deletion: Once you approve the deletion request via email, WeGoDoo will proceed to delete the specified lists.

 

 

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are bits of electronic information that a website may transfer to a visitor’s computer to identify specific information about the visitor’s visits to other websites. We may use automated technologies, including the use of web server logs to collect IP addresses, device details, cookies and web beacons. The Website uses a browser feature known as a cookie, which assigns a unique identification to your computer. However, in case you do not wish for us to collect such information, simply change the cookie settings on your web browser.

 

6. Sharing of Information

a) We may share some of your personal as well as non-personal information with our third-party hosting service provider namely, ESDS Software Solution Ltd, whose main servers are located in Nashik City, Maharashtra State, India.

b) When you subscribe to one of our plans, then you provide our third-party payment service provider, namely, Apple Pay or Google Pay or Pabbly Subscription Billing Platform, with your credit or debit card or internet banking information to process your payment requests.

c) We may share some of your personal information with our third-party service providers (such as Zoho Desk, Google Sheets, Pabbly subscription, etc.) to process your request for certain services.

d) We keep your information safe and do not share your information with any other third party. However, if we merge with or are acquired by another company or we sell our website or application or business unit, or if all or a substantial portion of our assets are acquired by another company, in those cases, your information will likely be one of the assets that would be transferred.

e) We may also share your information in response to legal requests. Please refer to Section 13.

 

7. Storage and Security of Information

 

a) Storage: Your data is stored through our hosting provider’s data storage, databases and servers located in Nashik City, Maharashtra State, India. We also store some of the information collected by us on our servers and do not share it with any third party, except for the limited purposes as mentioned in the Section 6. The servers and databases in which information may be stored may be located outside the country from which you accessed this Site and in a country where the data protection and other laws may differ (and be less stringent) from your country of residence. You hereby consent to any such cross-border transfer of your personal information.

 

b) Retention: Personal information that we collect, access or process will be retained only so long as necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was collected, as necessary for our legitimate business purposes, or as required or authorized by law. The above rights will only become exercisable by California residents if our Company falls within the scope of CCPA and/or CRPA. Further, we will verify your request using the information associated with your account, including email address. Government identification may also be required.

A request for access can be made by you only twice within a 12-months period. Any disclosures that we provide will only cover the 12-months period preceding receipt of your request. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable User request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will inform you of the reasons for such decision and provide you with a cost estimate before processing further your request.
